Pham Takes it Down on the Pot

Josep Maria Galindo Lopez opened to 200,000 with the Kh and was called by Ba Minh Pham with the AdKs, Vladimir Troyanovskiy with on the button and Antonio Guimaraens in the big blind with 9c. On a six-high flop, Pham took it down with a bet of 360,000.

Galindo Lopez opened the 200,000 shortly after again, holding the 9d9h, and Guimaraens flatted with the Qc in the small blind. The start-of-the-day chip leader folded to a continuation bet after not connecting with the flop.

Jean-Francois Regis and Denis Vladimirov then clashed in a battle of the blinds and the Russian folded to a bet of Regis on a flop of Ts, holding the As. Regis only had queen-high but a strong draw with the Qh9h.
