The second starting day of the €720+80 Mega Poker Series Barcelona Main Event is set to start in half an hour from now on at 16:00 local time. Yesterday, Day 1a saw a total of 125 entries and 62 players advanced to Day 2. Furthermore, the second €50 Rebuy Satellite generated a total of 19 tickets thanks to 126 runners and plenty of rebuys and add ons.
Same as yesterday, a total of nine 60-minute levels will be played with the registration for unique players being open until the start of level 5. This should be around 21:00, as there is a 60-minute dinner break after the end of level 5. Furthermore, all players have the option to re-enter once until the end of the day should they run out of chips.

Each participant that hasn’t bagged up chips for Day 2 can then re-enter once again before the first card is dealt in the Main Event on Friday at 16:00 local time in the Casino Barcelona. The man to beat thus far is Sviatoslav Shturyn from the Ukraine with impressive 551,000.
All players that already booked their entry for tomorrow can either enjoy the weather and beaches here in Barcelona, play some cash game or participate in the €150+50+20 Bounty Side Event as of 20:00. The tournament counts towards the seasonal leader board and provides 20,000 chips with levels of 25 minutes each.
