Day 1a of the €720+80 Main Event of the inaugural Mega Poker Series in the Casino Barcelona will get underway in two hours from now at 16:00 and the hotspot at the Spanish Rivera opens the doors for all poker players one hour prior to the start. Yesterday’s €50 Rebuy Satellite generated massive 18 tickets for the Deep Stack highlight and yet another edition of the qualifier will take place today as of 20:30 local time.
The Main Event features two starting days with one-hour levels on Day 1 and Day 2 whereas the level duration then increases to 75 minutes on the last two days. Each participant receives 80,000 in chips and one optional re-entry is allowed per starting day until 30 minutes prior to the start as well as before the first card on Day 2 is dealt.
Even though the vast majority of all participants will come from the local host country, more than 50 players have won their entry through the Live and Online Satellites as well and take part in the summer jam. Every day, a live stream with English and a separate Polish commentary is available on a security delay of 30 minutes. The very first feature table on Day 1a today includes MPS Season 2 leader board winner and recent World Series of Poker bracelet winner Adrian Apmann.
