The third season of the popular Mega Poker Series has concluded one week ago at the Montesino Vienna and as of the next season, William Hill Poker officially becomes the new main sponsor of the Deep Stack Festival. The inaugural stop of the upcoming Season 4 takes place from May 5th to 10th 2015 at the Casino Portomaso on Malta and the tournament schedule will be published as soon as it is fully confirmed.
NetBet Poker will continue to offer online satellites though, but the main qualification opportunities are to be hosted by William Hill Poker with at least three packages worth €1,500 each guaranteed on every Sunday. Besides, the top tier skin of the iPoker network will run additional promotions to give away further packages.
Due to the change in sponsorship, a few modifications to the event itself become inevitable. The Main Event buy-in will increase slightly to €800 in total with a new starting stack of 80,000 in chips. Both the late registration and single re-entry period are available throughout each Day 1 and until the first card is dealt on Day 2. On Day 1 and Day 2 the levels last 60 minutes, which increases to 75 minutes as of Day 3 as well as for the final day. In heads-up, the levels will be shortened to 30 minutes each.
The value of the online package remains the same at €1,500, however all qualifiers now receive €300 in travel expenses with the difference being used to cover four days of accommodation at the official MPS hotel for each respective stop. Every Sunday evening, poker players have the opportunity to qualify for the Deep Stack Festival through a weekly Super Sat with daily satellites as low as €1.
